Ok, I did a search on headlight conversion and read through about 200 posts and came up with nothing, most were related to converting from square to round headlight.

My topic is more along the lines of converting from the sealed beam headlights to the H4. Has anybody done this? Where did you get your reflectors from? The ones on Ebay for 5.99 don't seem expensive enough to be of a quality product ie. these.

I would really like to do this because last night when one of my headlights burnt out I had to go to 2 AutoZone's and 3 Schuck's auto parts to find one that would fit the Amigo. Also, I was only able to find one and I really like to replace both at the same time even if the other is not burnt out.

2000 Chevy Tahoe nothing special. 1990 Isuzu Amigo, 3" lift, 31x10.5x15 BFG All Terrain (Street), 33x12.5x15 (offroad), Pacesetter header, some ATM rash. More mods to come......

Ya, I'd be worried about the ones on ebay there for $5.99. I'd say pass on those. The saying "you get what you pay for" is usually true. I did this a few years back when I had my 89 pickup. The pair cost me I believe about $50. You should be able to buy them at Autozone, I believe that's where I bought mine, or at most auto parts places. Should be able to get them at your "performance" shops too.

Hella makes a conversion. It is very good. I tried the cheapos, but it was not worth it. The reflector was poor, the glass was cheap/thin and of poor quality.

Hella's conversion has a good reflector, nice cut and distribution on the lens. I cracked one a few years ago and was more than happy to buy a replacement. They are about $40 each through Summit and you cannot beat Summit's customer service.

Good Luck,
Michael

Hellas are good, Cibie can be had for not much more. Avoid Autopal and Neolite...they're crud.
