I've decided at the last minute that I'm going to drive my Gen1 out to Fayetteville WV for their "Bridge Day Festival" ( www.officialbridgeday.com ). That's an 6 - 7 hour drive each way and with 200K folks attending I'm certain there's not a hotel room open for miles around! I decided to completely remove the rear seat so that I can stuff a twin futon in the back (It should fit perfectly).

I removed the front "caps" that hide the front of the seat rails and found out how to slide the square retaining pins out of the way. This allows the whole seat to slide forward but not enough to allow removal. I'm begining to suspect that they only slide forward enough to allow access to the large bolts that fasten the rails to the floor. Is this the only course of action, removing the large botlts and completely removing the seat rails or am I missing something??

Thanks,
Bob
