i hear you on the sinking ship thing, i read in the paper today that ford is in the hole. 5.8 BILLION in the hole to be exact. they claim it to be from restructuring but i know another little dark secret of theirs.
Years ago ford bought some land in NJ not far from where i live to dump their waste. well someone found out it was toxic and made them clean it up and shut down the dump site.a few years ago they was testing soil and found it to still have contaminates in it and made ford clean it up again. finally early this month or late last month the found more waste at the site forcing ford yet again to come in there and clean. this time they will be supervised,and the case wont be closed until they are sure ford has cleaned everything up.it is very scary for the residents due to it is close to a resivoir that supplies that town with water(not the town im in we get ours from a different one)
i am positive that that 5.8 billion is NOT just from restructuring.I can't help but hope that ford goes under ,i hate that company as much as i hate bridgestone/firestone,which is alot.
