well I started tinkering around with the trooper again last night since I finally had some free time... I was able to get the air intake put back on and started putting the hoses back in place. I tried starting it again and it will try to start but then once I let off of the key it will just die.. some times though when I would turn the distributor to different angles it will stay running for a few seconds. when im able to keep it running for those few seconds I keep my foot on the gas and that helps keep it going for a few seconds longer but as soon as I take my foot off the gas it dies. could this be because I may not have the vacuum lines hooked up right? or could this still be a timing issue?
