Body Damage is Cool
Couple quick questions on your install. How did you run your oil lines? With mine they suggest putting a T where the oil sending unit goes , run it through the supercharger , and then back in through a valve cover.I was thinking of 1 big loop and back to where it started from. Also , did you chip your ECU or use anything to retard the timing? The instructions for this one (for a S-10) they have a prom for the ECU (don't have it) which I don't think I need , and also a relay of some kind to retard the timing which they suggest putting at 8 degrees.I also don't have this part , and I don't think I need to retard my timing as I have the MSD which will do it all auto for me anyway.Other than that mine should be pretty straight forward other than making up the adapters for the manifold base and TBI top.Oh , they say this puts out 5-8 PSI boost depending which pulley you have , mine is 8 , and it says 35% to the rear wheels <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

How did you run your oil lines?

The SC alpine uses is a self contained unit. No oil lines are needed.

I don't think I need to retard my timing as I have the MSD which will do it all auto for me anyway.

I don't *think* your MSD will do this for you as it has no way to know *when* to retard the timing. Double check or you might be breaking parts.

Good Luck,
Michael
