THIS lady had a Toyota divorced case put behind an Isuzu 2WD trans, so she'd be a good one to contact about what all was involved. Are you doing a SAS or something? Just adding a t-case won't make a 2WD into a 4WD.

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to sell your current truck and buy a 4x4 rodeo?

By the time you buy a divorced Toy case and have the custom work done to mate it to your truck, I question how much of that $700 you'll really be saving. Count on having front and rear driveshafts made as well; whereas if you bought the Isuzu 4wd tranny, you could use the driveshafts out of the same vehicle that is donating its front drivetrain. IMHO, its silly to drop the coin you're about to drop and devote the amount of time you're about to devote just to end up with OEM 4WD. Sourcing a vehicle that is already 4wd gets majority vote everytime one of these threads comes around; but you best know what you want.

Then keep your truck and buy another truck that is already 4wd. I bet you can do that cheaper than converting your existing truck.
