Does anybody else think its sketchy to use an automotive engine in an airplane?

How does that exhaust not burn up the valves?

Apparently they dont think the exhaust temps are a problem for the valves. This was posted by OBT on the planet, testing it in the truck..

There was some company using honda cx/gl 500 motorcycle engines for light weight aircraft. Just hope they used an upgraded stator for the alternator in them. The cx/gl had a tendancy to burn them up if it got too hot.
