Roll Me Over
My frame on teh driver side also had to be bent back to shape.
And, they are already starting to have small rust patches, which thoroughly pisses me off... i'd go factory, if i could afford it. I'm just waiting for corey to make some glass ones

Body Damage is Cool
dont think its going to happen ...

I dont believe I can build quality doors , with the frames , and have them fit perfect on every unit .. Problem is , the frames are so thin and small ..very difficult to build , and maintain quality , and I hate to sell CRAP .. so I know my limits , and that , my friend , is one of them .

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I am planning on swapping my doors out on my 91 extended cab, the current ones are electric, one of the replacement doors I bought off of ebay is manual. How hard is it to swap the electric into a door that had manual.

Doors are quick and easy, i can take a set apart in about 30 min at most (i've done more than 1 tho)....

and CJ, damn.. i'd love some fiber doors sad u cant make them (i saw youre 1/2's)...
but think of this, can you make a skin that just goes on teh outside of the door? that's where mine is rusting. The rest of the door is fine.... just like u're tailgate skin? i think it'd be a good idea (with some of the vodka and redbull i've been driking,,,, lol) what u think about that? possible?

When are those full bodies coming? i'm thinking about 10 years i'll need one ....

i'd love to do the doors .. there may be a way yet , but cost is always an issue .. toyota owners will only pay so much .. so that really is the issue .
as for the complete body ... I'll have one in 10 years for ya smile

as far as just a skin .. I have considered it .. but have dismissed . used doors are still way more avaliable , for less then i can produce a skin ..

when I did my hinges , quick change , for my 1/2 doors ... I just got a set of pins and bushings from Canadian tire , and drilled the hinges to accept the new bushings . drilled a "key " hole in the pin and made them quick release ..

now I Can re&re my 1/2 doors in 5 mins .

I love watching your work, you really turn these rust buckets into something beautiful. You are obviously very busy, but have you put any more thought/work into those Trekker bodies?

He actually posted a month or so back, that he bought a trekker and will be working on it sometime, hopefully next year.
