My driver's side '96 T-100 extra cab seat belt suddenly started locking-up. I have 105K miles, so I doubt a free replacement is covered. I sprayed a little silicone down the hole where it retracts and it seemed to helped a little bit. The seat belts have been flaccid forever (getting slammed in the doors regularly). It is only a recent thing that the belt locks randomly and on one occasion I had to drive home 'illegally' because the belt refused to release. Gosh, I felt naked. lol Alot of drivers in Kentucky fail to even use their belts, but it feels wrong without it fastened (not to mention unsafe).

So I just smack the retractor part with a rubber mallet against the panel? I don't want to pay a couple hundred bucks on a new one, though the yellow tag is exposed on the belt saying something like "if you can see this, the belt needs to be replaced".
