In any case, low 30's > mid-high teens, and you get great torque to boot!

I *could* look into the availability of the euro-spec ECU and injectors over here... Shouldn't be too bad out of a j-yard, and this would eliminate the need for a lot of the other stuff.

I have driven the euro 1.9 and 2.0 TDI engines (2.0 not available in the US), and they are MUCH stronger than 100/180, yet still get 40 mpg at 100 mph!
