With just chipping it, you're already in the 180hp range and lots more torque but how do you get it registered?


This VW diesel swap has really piqued my interest but I am also having the frustration that comes with being low down on the learning curve.

I am also wondering if the late model TDI electronic injected motors could be run with a Megasquirt aftermarket ECU thereby eliminating the troublesome (and expensive) VW electronics. How cool would it be to get all the technological advances incorporated into the later TDI motors without the electronic hassles! -- Matt
