Getting the Wheeling Fever

- Gen2 2door would have been ideal, but there was no short wheelbase Gen2 for US market and I definitely wanted a short wheelbase. So I didn't have a choice

How did you ensure the bell housing alignment was correct? Lots of things to align. For-aft, angle, rotation. That must have been tough.

Did the LS series motors not have a NV4500 option?? I figured there woudl be a factory GM bellhousing for your app. Some badass junkyard engineering there on that Bellhousing.
I know you did it on the cheap. I can tell too. Not because of the quality, but because of the DIY attitude. I think thats killer too. Making your own bellhousing. SHeesh man. Thats cool.
I don't know what question to ask next. haha

PS. All the comments (either good or bad) and suggestions are welcome! There better not be any bad comments. That is sweet.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

I might as well sell both my turbo Raiders. And just get out of the Montero business. I have seen it all now!
If he shows pics of a solid axle swap next,,,,,,, I may just shoot myself.
Well on my way to becoming that eccentric old man in every town.(crazy as a s#@thouse rat) With a yard full of desireable old vehicles that tells you, Sorry they're not for sale..... Someday I'm going to fix them.

Uh.... wow..
Just the thought of starting my truck and it sounding MANLY and not sewing machine wimpy. Just the thought of the lights turning green and I when I press the gas peddle, the truck actually moves with ease.....
What a great project. Cant wait to see more.
