Andre,that will work good,there is a factory crossmember about 4" back from that so it shouldn't stiff'n the frame to much.I did the same thing on the rear of an old blazer so I could use short stock type bolts----no more broken bolts.

Using the stock bushings will be a pain,since they drop thru the frame.
Pick up some poly mounts for a heep and use them on top of the tubing.
Drill a larger hole in the bottom off the tubing so you can get a socket tape'd onto an extension up ther to tighten the bolts.
