sounds like your definitly out of starter fluid... top that off and it should start right up .
[color:"blue"]Darn!! Why didn't I think of that? I missed a blonde moment when I had a good opportunity!
btw, no need to just come around when somethings not working right... you should come see us on the "chat" side.
[color:"blue"]You know, I do miss the forum when things are running smoothly. LOL I don't know how hubby would feel about me chatting with mechanically superior men but what the heck, alls fair in love and truck performance. I don't think I'd have that much to offer back to the forum since I'm not the brightest flasher bulb in the bunch when it comes to major repairs. But hey, if someone needs a darn good recipe for chocolate chip cookies, I'm on it. I guess since I've kept the truck running for 15 years I must be doing something right, but I give more credit to Mitsubishi engineering than myself.
Now for another question; The battery and connections were all checked and cleaned and appeared fine. When jumped with another vehicle though, the truck turns right over. Please tell me my problem is simply a dead battery! A new one is on the way anyway, but is this simply a coincidence?
I find it hard to believe that the battery was the issue when the car died after just sitting for 15 minutes with nothing left on. Not even a weak battery starting sound.
But I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Batteries I can do.
