Are you running the 32" tires now with the stock 4.11 gears?

Reason I ask is I have stock 235/75 r15 tires and will be getting new shoes sometime soon and I'm either going with 31's or 32's. I plan on running 32's in the long run with 4.88's, but I'd like to know how bad the 32's would be with 4.11 gears on an all-stock 1990 v6 5 speed runner.

I don't have the $$$ to drop on tires and gears so I will have to get tires first cause mine are soooo crappy.


Sorry dont mean to hi-jack post, but im in the same boat as todopodero, the 235/75 r15's on my 88' p/u need to go soon, and im wondering if 31s will work fine with the stock gears?


Yea it wont even be a problem. Like i said i had 33" tires on my 90 toyota and its fine. But your not going anywhere too fast and going up hill is slow. But 31 should be fine. I went form the 33 to 32 and can tell a difference.
