what is a quick fix for the rear springs, replace em with aerostar springs, tj springs , mpv springs, or add another spacer? what do you guys think?

New springs. No more spacers If you have them in remove them and find a spring that gives you the most articulation

The only problem I can see with MPV springs is that they might be a little too high and cause a humm at speeds over 40 mph (I have them). They are also a bit wide and tend to rub the tire and shocks. I tried spacers with the Eibacks, but it did not fare well because they bumped (hit) when having a rear pasenger and in very tight curves. One time I took the front springs, cut a half a turn (to lower the stance to eliminate the vibration at speeds over 40) out of it and if fitted nice on the Kia, was very stable, and gave, though a little hard, pretty good ride. The only thing I didn't like was that they did not stretch very much and I did not have good downward wheel travel. I figure, for what I have read and heard, the Ford van springs are best. YThey are soft, good ride, give long wheel travel, and if they a too long, you can cut it to get the right length, though I don't think you'll need to.

The TJ springs was one of the best things I've done to mine. I did the TJ bumpstop cups and bumpstops also. I removed the stock bumpstops and used a drill and tap through the stock bumpstop holes and the frame and bolted the cups on. I have never had a spring fall out again and it gave 4 inches to match the front.

I used to have these springs. They are auto set for 1.5" and the front are 2.5" (Eibachs)! Used to have this setup. The rear are already low in the first place. I say get a real lift ......or get the Denny T's spring actuaters and see the difference <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

the Aerostar coils will be too high, they will lift you about 5-6" and you can't go that high in the front, it will look funny, like a hotrod, but it's not a hotrod, ya know? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" /> tech term- massive forward rake.....
