A friend of mine and I are considering getting a Rubicon. Essentially, we have both spend lots of money getting a CJ7 (me) and a YJ (him) trail-worthy. Now, we'd like to get a Jeep that is essentially stock, with OEM performance parts, and just add a mild lift to get maybe 32" MT's on it.

So we're looking at the Jeep Rubison. We each have heard things about it and how it is equipped, but we're not sure what's true and what's rumor. So we're looking at something 2006 or older (can't afford a new one). Here's some questions we have:

1. When did the Rubicon model first come out?

2. We believe that it comes with selectable lockers in both ends. Is this true, and are they air lockers, mechanically selectable, electrically selectable, or eletro-magnetic selectable?

3. We have heard they come with Dana 44 axles in both ends. Is that true, and are they "real" Dana 44's, and not some wimped out version.

4. We have heard that the Rubicon comes with a mild llift an 31" tires. Is this so?

5. What ring-and-pinion gear ratio does it come with?

6. Any other trail-worthy goodies that the Rubicon comes with?

7. What's a reasonable price for a 2 or 3 year old Rubicon?

Thanks.
