I'm fixin to start repairing a couple of rust holes on my 4runner. I'm getting the sheet metal for the fix tomorrow. I've never used bondo before so I was wondering which of their products I needed to smooth the repaired area. I'm also going to use it to repair a few spots that haven't rusted all the way through. Also, what grit sand paper should I use to remove the paint from these areas?
*I love driving old trucks because I can work on them myself and if I mess something up, who cares?? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

I would suggest getting the a haynes body repair & painting manual. I picked mine up at O'Reilly's but it should be at any of the other parts chains. It's a real good book for the novice body man.

Here is a good web page that will help you out. They also have a BB where you can ask questions.
