Bone stock Bronco 5.0/100kmi.W/fresh tuneup, getting 11.8 mi to gallon around town.
What can I do to improve mpg? K&N? exhuast? Any suggestions would be appreciated! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cyclops.gif" alt="" />

does it have a manual or auto tranny and when you say tune up what did you tune up try putting new plugs and wires on it if you haven't already

According to records provided by previous owner, plugs wires cap n rotor pcv were done 8kmi ago. grey high performance 8mm wires. automatic, 20 bolt pan.

Not that particular model but i have heard of the Tornado i have never heard anytihing good about them but if you like it let me know and if you don't mind a little noise put on a cherry bomb on your 5.0 you will notice a small increase in gas milaege but its not worth it if you don't like loud let me know hoe it goes another thing you can do is put a new fuel filter on it and a clean air filter and maybe a cold air intake but if you don't want to spend the extra money just get the washable K&N that is an exact replacement they are like $50 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Yeah i am still payin goff my tires they came at a bad time but i wanted them, i should have listened to my dad and ran my other tires all winter then bought new ones after I saved up money all winter but i just had to have them, but they are really awesome so what state are you from and do you have any idea about my 4.0L question

I really couldn't tell you for sure. we all want a little more power, I wanted a bronco w 351c but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this clean as a whistle 5.0. so I will do addons including a custom burned performance chip. do your research, make sure it is what you want.
