Getting the Wheeling Fever
I got a great deal I could not pass up, I got these Maxxis Bighorn M/T's (31x10.5x15) off eBay for 360 shipped, and thought I would share a couple pics.
I've had this 92 Montero now for about a month, and I cranked the tbars and put the new tires on, here are some before and afters.

All stock the day from the autotrader ad:

After the tbar crank:

After these tires I have noticed a bit of power loss, how do you guys with the 33s do it?? This is not quite a daily driver but i like to drive it quite often, and it is definetly more sluggish now.

You'll get used to those 31s in no time! I noticed it on my '92 as well. Basically when passing, or on on ramps to the interstate. It really is worth the little power loss...you'll believe it the first time you go offroad Those tires look really nice for 360...let us know how they wear!

Good job!

Your truck looks great, and I promise you'll get used to the power just like it is.

I simply swapped to a truck with even less power... Then I could blame it on something else besides the 33s...

Looks great! What a clean 92! Sweet! How are the Bighorns on the road? I saw them in 4wheel and sport utility just yesterday, and wondered how they were.

Great looking 92. I really like the black on black. I think 92 is the only year for the black bumpers on the4 gen2. I could be wrong, but nice truck.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Nice! Thats exactly the first thing I did too. I did not notice too much power loss though. That will be different when I go to 33s Im sure.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. As for the tires they ride pretty good, they are noisey though, which doesnt bother me any, when coming to a stop or driving really really slow you can feel them, but other then that so far so good, I just hope they last for a while.

Turn the radio up. White rims are cool too.

Looks great, the tires really change the personality of your rig from to
