Rolled the truck into my garage last Sunday and wasted a week removing stuff, but I got to bury the IFS today <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />

The newb plasma cutter (me) was not too steady and managed to burn a couple holes in the frame <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> Luckily it's where I'm adding some 1/4" plate <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'll post more pics as it stuff gets done <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

How long was this in the making? How long did it take to get all the parts together?

It would probably take 4-6 weeks to get all the parts together, unless you're a procrastinator. It's been a year since I bought the donor axle <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

I'm just going with Alcan leafs. I've seen both coil and leaf Tacomas going through the same trails...they both do fine. Now if my project was a truggy/buggy, then it would have to be coilovers <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

KIAFREEKROB you have a huge footprint there, my standard Tacoma width will look small compared to yours <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
