I don't know about an Eclipse, but a Starion/Conquest alt. will bolt right up. They are available as remans from most of the parts houses and new from Mitsu. They have the amps. you're looking for.

And...happy birthday. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

I have a 90 AMP alternator. I bought it on E-bay and have never been able to hook it up. It is a Mitsubishi brand.

It bolts on perfect. I had to swap the pulley with my old O.E.M. unit to get the belts to line up, but that was easy.

The problem I have is I can't determine which wire goes on which input of the alternator, because the plug for the new alternator is "T" shaped and not like my Montero's original plug in the harness.

88 Montero with Gen 3 alloys, 31 inch Toyo's, A/T, Dual Bouncy Seats, Midland CB radio, Rebuilding 2.6L . See the details http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/710921
