yup i bought mine at the trackter supply store ,bolts right up with the original montero bolts...the bolts that came with mine were different and had nuts with them /they were of a different thread pattern ...but be careful when you try to un hitch you may not have clearenc because of the rear spare tire ... I have to open the rear door the remove the trailer tonge..not much of a problem .

Is that a standard bolt pattern on the back of the Montero that accepts a hitch like this?


How much they run for?


88 red Montero with the Dakar Special Edition decals, 438,000 miles (As of 7/23/2012) some occational blue puffing but still strong and counting!!! I am going ppsshhh (turbo), Stay tuned =) ...

My threads are all rusted up and the bolts are very hard to put in or out.. I am goint to drill the holes out and knock off the nuts on the back and put in some 1/2in grade 8 bolts and nuts.
