Also pass along any recomendations for mods and builds. I plan on keeping the 4 cyl. for now so swapping is out of the question, i like the toyota drive train, oh yea and i am on a pretty fixed budget...for now... Thanks for the help! The only way to get hp out of a 22R is to do some porting and significant head work. If you want the 22R motor to make awesome HP/Torque you'll have to spend some money. Now if you'll say how much you want I can go from there. I agree swapping a head on a 22r to get 180HP, show me the dyno sheet and I'll kiss your........
