I was looking at my rear axle and shock. As it is now my rear shock has about 3 or so inches of rod exposed.I was thinking if I put the shock mount above the axle 3 or so inches higher than where it is now the shock would have to collapse to attach to the higher mount above the axle. Leaving me no up travel on the shock. Does this make sense to anyone. How is this overcome? Or am i not seeing it right?
