All right. I went under my truck to find out about the noise. Turns out I have been off on the location. It was under my truck, which became apparent once I was under it.

And it turns out that the little bugger making all the noise was this:

Yup. The clutch release cylinder push rod/clutch release fork connection point. I sprayed lubricant on it and the noise stopped (as a test).

Now, the question I have is: should refurbish the release cylinder or buy a new one and has anyone does this before and how hard is it?
