I looked at Javy's when we were doing his head. It looks like there's plenty of room if you take the compressor loose (4 bolts, 1 wire) and lay it aside. The sway bar is in the way for a bottom drop. You could also take the fan out and go up the front. DON'T bang the radiator.

Given a choice, I'd go compressor removal.
