Guys,
I went and drove the truck this morning, and it drives well for a truck with 89K miles. The body is kinda roughed up a bit, with several paint scuffs and one small dent/scratch on the side of the bed. Overall, a nice ride. However, I get a bad vibe from this dealership in general. When I first got there, it had snowed a little, and the truck was cold. Instead of taking me out to start it up, the guy said he'd bring it around to the front where I was, like he didn't want to let me hear it clatter when it started, or something. I dunno, I just felt like there was a story with this thing that they weren't letting me in on. You know how when you ask about the thing, and everybody in the place shoots glances at each other, but won't look you in the eye? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
Anyway, I've trusted my gut for 41 years, and it's yet to let me down, so I thanked them for their time, and walked away. I'll keep looking.
