...That brings me to the main reason I posted this. When I hit overdrive around 45 to 55, I cannot accelerate for the life of me (maybe 1 mph per 3 to 5 seconds of time). I have stock gears on my '85 with 33 x 10.5's, which would explain for some slow acceleration but there's a catch.

I recently had a full tune up (plugs, wires, rotor, cap, fuel filter, diff's flushed and filled, idle was definitly upped a little bit) and my acceleration at this speed (45+) was MUCH better before the tune up.



OK, good before tune-up, slow after tuneup. Your answer is in there.
Maybe the timing is off. A spark plug wire on wrong cylinder?
