Not to steal the thread but, I too would like suggestions for a locker brand/type, I haven't narrowed anything down yet.

Next summer I would like to put in a locker(s) for my 87 4runner 5sp. I live in Denver so I see all kinds of weather; snow, ice, dry, wet, of course sand from the plow trucks. So I was curious on what would be a good set up for the back and for the front IFS that would complement each other nicly. The rear would see more weather conditions than the front, the front would be used for off road use more than on road. So thus I was thinking limited slip in rear and lock-right up front. But what kind of Limited slip, by who world work the best? Or any suggestions word be great. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Lets keep air/electric lockers out, too expensive for me.

The TrueTrac works quite nice:

Other option is the Supra clutch-type LSD:
