I started out by checking my choke. Scerb, ur FAQ is awesome!

I think that my choke isn't working right. I punched the gas pedal, and the choke opens exactly 1/4". Then I opened the throttle a little bit and closed the choke plate, then let go of the throttle, and then let go of the throttle plate. The throttle plate sticks completely shut until I punch the gas, then it opens to 1/4".

It feels like something is sticking. Where is the fast idle cam linkage, maybe that needs to be WD-40'd? It's also about 70 degrees where I live, that wouldn't make much of a difference should it?

Also, is there anywhere on the net where I can get a good tutorial on exactly how a carburetor works with illustrations and what not? It would really help if I knew exactly what was going on in there.
