SD Maybe I am just ahead of the curve, but I have never found a project I couldnÆt mechanic myself, if I took my time, read the directions, and carefully tackled the task at hand. I do know my limits though, when it comes to Machine work, fr or rear end gears, or Automagic transmissions I go to the pros, but I have build several engines and manual transmissions with no issues, a few were rather high horsepower too and used at the local circle track. I have had no formal training in mechanicing, I am a Mechanical Engineer, so maybe I approach things with a different perspective and carefulness, but I do not think my advice was poor or I said anything in accurate. Take your time, read the instructions, and make sure you know what you are getting into before you jump.
