Just a bit more info, Toyota made some changes to the EFI in mid-88, so your 89 donor uses the newer injectors, AFM, and ECU. The pre-88.5 EFI uses low impedance peak and hold injectrors, while the post-88.5 used high impedance saturated injectors. Like Darin said, as long as all of the EFI components come from the same "era" you will be fine...but don't mix and match early injectors with a late ECU, or vice versa, or you might damage the injector driver circuit of the ECU.
