I found out a bit more today...

The reason junkyards have no Toyotas here... They are all shipped to Greece and Africa for parts when totaled. The demand is much higher there.

The only EU market springs to fit would be off of the 85-88 VW Taro pickup (it's a Hi-Lux, just badged VW to combat the fierce anti-Japanese consumers in the 80's). The Hi-Lux pickups had a 7 leaf pack, yet my 4Runner has a 5 leaf pack.

The measurements would be 60mm wide by 1200cm long. It is 530cm from the front eye to the axle center, and 670 from the axle centerline to the rear eye.

There is an aftermarket version sold here for about $450, and I might go with that.
