I've just converted my '94 Pajero from auto to manual. When fitting the clutch slave cylinder, I've found that there's an additional hydraulic "thingummyjig" (highly technical term here!) just before the slave cylinder. None of my 2.5 manuals have this unit, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is is/does? It's got a bleed nipple on it, and some sort of cylinder, but there's no real indication as to what purpose it serves.
Cheers!

Chris, Best I can do is attach a photo from my transmission with the slave cylinder attached. Note the hydraulic pipe on the photo is tucked in behind the slave cylinder just to keep it out of harm's way. Maybe post a photo of your slave cylinder? ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v474/4ePajero/SlaveCylinder.jpg)
