It looks like going to 4.88 is a regear.

Jim @ inchworm did the diffs on my 1981. I was happy with the results.

I need 4.56 for my current setup - moderate lift SAS (33's) - I paid $450 for my toyota e-locker 3rd locally, had I known that I could buy at a dealer for under $800 or so, I really would have considered that option.
I'm assuming a regear is going to cost $300-$400, assuming that I don't do it myself..Regearing is something I've avoided so far...
