Presuming 22Rxx, no, the radiator doesn't need to come out, but should be drained, as once you break the pump loose, it's gonna rain down the front of the engine.

The fan will have to come off; good time to R&R the belt if you need to.

Use ONLY a 1/4" drive to put it back together, so you don't break off your studs; no torque value here.

Pretty straightforward otherwise. Just remember to turn ON your heater, and have the radiator cap off so you can burp all the air out of the system once you service it back up.
