Agreed, yes, the radiator does not have to ocme out.

*However* - it's very easy to remove, just 4 10mm bolts, and it has to be drained anyway.
You'll find that not having it there leaves alot more room for those giant meathooks of yours. If it were me, i'd go ahead and do it.
