I was going to douche out the housing and relube the cable. Wasn't sure if you could get a drill on it to spin it. I have my instrument cluster out and am letting the oil/graphite mixture soak, but am debating whether or not to just buy a new cable. For all the hassle it took to get to the back of it, I don't want to do it twice! (96 T100 4x4 xtra cab) Cheers. update: I let the oil/graphite mixture "soak" overnight with an occasional spin with the drill.
