Anyone else have luck with lubing the "sealed" speedo cable? I have my instrument cluster out and am letting the oil/graphite mixture soak, but am debating whether or not to just buy a new cable. For all the hassle it took to get to the back of it, I don't want to do it twice! (96 T100 4x4 xtra cab)

update: I let the oil/graphite mixture "soak" overnight with an occasional spin with the drill. I plugged the cable back in the following day and I actually managed to make the problem worse! Sounds like it's time for a new cable!
