What have you all done to fix the gear shifter problem when doing a 3" body lift? I cut and welded the two 3" spacers into my shifters like the kit said to do, but I was still unable to replace the shift boot and center plastic. I had to cut some extra metal to engage my bottom gears and cut up a rubber floormat to go over the hole. The directions in the kit make it sound so easy.
