I'm thinking about finally putting some sort of aux/fog lights on my T. My front end is all stock and I'm not hip to drilling/cutting anything, unless it's bomber. I'm also hesitant to mount anything that is exposed at bumper level to most cars because of the bump and grind parking practices of city folks. Due to my experiences in winter driving, I think bumper level would be optimal. What works for you guys?

I was gonna get a real bumper or grillguard and mount them on that.
I have seen alot of people mount them right on the bumper itself too.
I have ben lookin for awhile at some lights, hella is cheapest and the best for the money. But I dont want 2 sets of lights (fog/driving), so PIAA 525's that do both driving and fog are optimal or wanr 160's-but then run 300 + bucks.

those hellas look good, did you have to drill? If you did, how do you avoid rust/discoloration of the chrome? Did you incorporate the wiring into the existing headlight switch? thanx

I did a similar thing on my bumper, PIAA 520 series, cut the PIAA switch off and used the offroadsolutions switch in the factory blanks in the dash...caution with those switches, both of mine blew fuses if i attached the ground wire to alluminate the switch, i can get photos soon, using a second switch for my manual on for my FAL radiator fan. (in the middle of getting another VSC controller, big suprise)

One thing to keep in mind - in several states, mine (NY) included, it is illegal to have auxiallary lights wired to anything but the high beam circuit. Apparently the powers that be think we are too stupid to turn them off at the same time we lower the high beams......

In NJ its liek that, so long as they are covered and for 4x4 use only when they inspect your fine.
