Pistons aren't a substitute for tuning.. 10psi is a lot of boost for a stock compression motor... Rick at Full Boogie seems to pull it off, but he's got complete timing and fuel control.

On my blown motor, compression slightly less than 8:1 (est) - I wouldnt' ping on 87 octane with advanced timing.. It was a bit of a bummer!


You could do 22RTE pistons and a blower, but it'll be a little lackluster, even at 10psi.
