Flashing AT light/Check Engine #768561 11/30/06 01:55 AM

Need a Spot

95/3.0 Montero.
On the way to work today the AT light started flashing during braking. I am also getting a check engine at times, but neither is on all the time. Only happening during braking. The manual is no help, just says the ECU has detected a fault.
Any ideas?
