Ive had it to two shops now, one was jeep and they just wanted to take my money and where not very resourceful, and just want to start replacing parts. Heres the problem. Jeep intermitently will not shift into gear with the clutch depressed. A little history. About a year ago I had the Clutch, pressure plate nad throw out bearing replaced. With the jeep off it goes into gear. It sometimes makes noise kinda ticking noise, with the clutch depressed I let it a little ways out it goes away and then a little farther and it comes back. You have to push real har in first to get it to pop in, then maybe and hour later it will shift fine for a while. Also before the problem started you could always here the throw out bearing, then when you depress the clutch in, the noise would go away and let the clutch out it would come back. Now that theres problems, when you press the clutch in the throwout bearing noise is still there. Im stumped and the jeep mechanics are stumped, the said it could be the Slave cylinder and tell me they want to replace it and drop my tranny to look around also. Someone please help me I just want to get it back on the road, Im hopeing its just the slave. Thanks from a newbie. James
