anyone had this. I know how the system works but over the last few months on any sharp turns I am getting a wheel to lock up and skid. Of course it is not extreme, only a small few chirps.
Just curious as to if this is a sign of failing or it all of a sudden decided to start working. I am trying to avoid regear as I am rebuilding a front axle that I want to swap in. If I regear the rear then I will lose out on 4 wheel drive for what little winter we have any more. thanks fellas

Does it do this while accelerating around a corner, or coasting? My LSD would chirp when I accelerated briskly around a corner, such as a right turn from a stop sign. That is nothing unusual. If it is doing it at other times...might be a problem there.
