I have never actually had the money to do this before, so I have always ran stock gears and just welded the diff. I was wondering if anyone could tell me who made decent sets, and maybe some places online I could look to buy them. I am not looking at going crazy. I was thinking about 4.88 gears and l0ock-rite lockers. If you have any suggestions it would help out alot. All Pro carries gears and lockers for Tacomas. TRD parts 4U (which is Toyota of Dallas) has always given me big discounts off of list price, but I've never bought aftermarket stuff from them even though I know they carry various brands. For gear sets...Yukon is good and usually available.
