I'd say your tint shop needs to fix your defroster for you. I'm guessing yours did the same thing mine did. I just didn't realize it till winter time and didn't put 2 and 2 together for quite some time.

I took it back and they were more than happy to fix it for me.

Its been tinted for 5 years now and the problem only recently started. It could be a result of the tint, but since its worked so long, I don't feel right asking them to fix it.
