Ok, I had a post last week about my 1998 Honda Passport but I thought I would start a new thread because I had different problems going on that were giving 2 different kinds of problems that I thought were all related but ney were'nt.

Now the symptoms are, It will try to stall, it acts like it is going to stall and just before it does it will rev back up almost like I was giving it gas but I never touch the peddel once it revs back up it acts fine for a few seconds then does it again then after a few times of this it will finally stall even if I am moving.

So all I have to do is stick it in nutrel and it will fire back up as I am coasting down the road I will get about a block or so and it will start all over. I notice that when ever it starts to act up if I pull over put it in park and rev it up I get wacky rpms. If I just barly touch the gas I will get like 3000 rpms and it will stay there for 5 seconds or better and then start to come down just like I was holding the pedal on 3000 rpms for 5 seconds then letting off.

The other thing is I can't keep it at a steady rpm it is like real touchy. These things are directly realted to the stalling because once in a while it will come out of it and run just perferct like there is no problem in the world. I am going to check the intake manifold tonight but I don't think that is going to be it.

It sorta seems like a different problem. But I am open for all suggestions.
