Reminds me of one time I got done in a new car doing a bit over the limit:

Officer: Do you know how fast you were going?
Me: About 120 km/h I think...
Officer: Actually 119 km/h in a 100 zone. Do you have any reason for doing that speed?
Me: No, but at least I know my speedo is accurate...

...and with that I got a ticket for doing less than 10 km/h over the limit (smaller fine). Copper reckoned it was the most honest answer he had heard all day.
